Boston Marathon Giving Day is Wednesday, March 15!
For the past 34 years, area non-profits have raised more than $460 million through the Boston Marathon.
On Wednesday, March 15, be a part of #BostonMarathonGivingDay and join us in supporting more than 200 non-profits. Check out the prizes and incentives for athletes raising funds on March 15 below!

Method of Entry #1: The top three fundraisers who donate or fundraise a minimum of $2,500 to a Boston Marathon Official Charity Program or John Hancock Non-Profit Program team will receive a donation to their GivenGain page. A $3,000 donation for the fundraiser who raises the most, a $2,000 donation for the second highest fundraiser, and a $1,000 donation for the fundraiser with the third highest total raised.
Method of Entry #2: Fundraisers who donate or fundraise a minimum of $1,000 to a Boston Marathon Official Charity Program or John Hancock Non-Profit Program team have a chance to win one of eight $500 donations to their GivenGain page.
All funds must be raised between 12:01 a.m. ET on March 15 through 11:59:59 pm ET on March 15 within GivenGain; offline donations do not count towards the prizes. Winners will be notified directly via email.
The Boston Marathon Official Charity Program and the John Hancock Non-Profit Program have combined to raise more than $460 million since the charity program’s inception at the 1989 Boston Marathon.
